The PIR Prestige AMQD sensor by Texecom has been acknowledged as the best product of the year 2009 in the category of alarm equipment. The prestigious prize PSI Premier Award has been awarded with the votes of readers of British trade magazine -  PSI MAGAZINE.

People awarding the prize appreciated high-tech solutions used in this product. It complies with the  rigorous requirements of 3rd degree of the EN50131-2-2 norm which is required from a PIR sensor with anti-masking. Quad PIR element used in the device offers detection within 15m range. Other    characteristics of the detector are: T-EOL output, digital pulse counter, digital temperature compensation and a universal bracket with cable management in one set. The PIR Prestige AMQD sensor uses the active technology of infra-red to detect an attempt to mask its detection range. Fresnel optics supplemented with additional mirror ensures the control of creep zone. The sensor also has a function of automatic working test and many characteristics making the installation process easier.
